       You know on several occasions I spoke with Terrance Hudson, one of the founders of FAB Weekend, and he expressed his concerns of wanting to make this years big FAB event bigger, badder and bolder than last year. Well, I am

The event was fantastic! FAB Weekend presented Blazing Curves Models, Model Wars, and Inferno Hair Wars. Three fan-tabulous shows on one stage. I was way too excited! 

The Chaparral Suites in Scottsdale was alive and jumping with the eager peeps waiting for the runway show. 

      The Grand Ballroom was filled with some old school hip hop sounds of which kept me bouncing in my seat. Local radio station Imelight Radio was also in the house broadcasting from the event. This event was slated to be a very VERY big shindig. 

      So here we go! I am going to give you a magical insight to the world of 
                                          FAB=Fashion.Art.Beauty.

Kicking off the show with a grand start is 

Kathy Blaze Jefferson's Blazing Curves. 

Blazing Curves serves as a platform for 

plus size women and men to  showcase 

their runway talents.

Kathy J (as I like to call her) has put the sexy back into the hands of many women who may not be comfortable with their fuller frames. In the fashion world being plus sized was a taboo at one time.

Today, we are seeing plus size models on big name runways and as well as in magazine print ads. Kathy J not only designed the Blazing Curves tee shirt line, but she would be debuting her Blazing Curves men. Um, I think the audience really liked that part.

Dizzie Ramsey

The 2nd big performance of the night was Model 

Wars. I knew we were destined to get some fierce 

action of the runway. I was getting real excited for 

the host change because Mr. Dizzie Ramsey is an all 

around entertainer. He keeps the crowd completely 

engaged at all times. Dizzie's high spirited energized 

self likes to clown around with the young and 

the seasoned.

I do have to give a big shout out to Lana May Designs and her ridiculously talented self. The ingenuity that goes into to constructing one of Lana's most spectacular pieces is simply brilliant. I see my next Christmas present lol! 

You have to give the utmost praise and respect to a designer who creates a neck piece with long chains connected to the wrists. SICK!(That's slang for super cool)

THE NIGHT'S ENTERTAINMENT

Heavy metal acoustic band 24 Thorns opened the show with a pre-show warm up. 

Violet Marie performs.

Lamar Mitchell

Singer/songwriter/Mistress of Ceremonies Tina Estes performed one of her original tracks. 

Lamar Mitchell brought his comedic wits to the stage. As did Brandon B House bringing in a few jokes for the people.

And for the grand finale...Inferno Hair Wars! This performance brings an eclectic array of visions storytelling through the world of hair designs. This competition sets the imagination highway into high gear. I am always blown away by the craftsmanship of the stylists.

FAB Weekend has no problems pullling out the stops. So the moral to the story....GET YOUR TICKETS FOR FAB WEEKEND 2016! Kudos to FAB for giving us a FABulous show.
